Moving into Autumn
This 3 day retreat comes at a time when we are shifting from the strong, yang, summer energy into autumn.
The days get shorter and the natural seasonal energy is beginning to gather in and return to ground.
Like a tree storing its energy, shedding its leaves and slowing down growth, our bodies are also preparing for the onset of winter.
We will honour the seasonal energy with yoga and food that specifically prepares us for cooler yin seasons: autumn and winter. Autumn is the perfect time to shift our focus back inwards, to focus on breath and listen to our internal nature.
Yoga Postures, Pranayama & Meditation
With yoga postures, breathwork, self-shiatsu, meditation, deep relaxation and self inquiry we will work to strengthen our lungs, centre and ground ourselves and build up a reserve of energy to sustain us through the colder months.
Expand and Deepen Your Yoga Understanding
This is a range of workshops to expand and deepen our understanding of yoga. In a class situation we often only get to practice postures, yet yoga has an insightful, practical and fascinating body of knowledge regarding the workings of the mind and the soul, as relevant today as it was 4,000 years ago.
This retreats has 5 yoga sessions. Free time between yoga sessions allows guests to rest and explore. Optional massage can be booked separately. Class sizes are kept small and students of all levels of experience are welcome. If there are areas of particular interest or special needs, i.e. injuries or pregnancy, please let us know in advance so we are able to better tailor the program to suit you.
Yoga can refresh and revitalize you mentally and physically! Learn asana sequences to help you through menstruation and menopause, and practices to ease stress and promote energy and vitality. There will be a special focus on twists, balances and core strengthening postures to enhance good digestion and your body’s own cleansing abilities. The physical practices will be supported by deep relaxation, meditation and pranayama (yogic breathing). Cultivate physical and mental harmony as spring blossoms in a beautiful bush setting.
Accommodation and Meals
Home-cooked, delicious, inspiring vegetarian meals are provided, beginning with Friday night dinner. Special diets are catered for.
Price includes yoga, accommodation & food and varies with level of accommodation (+optional massage available at extra cost)
Meals include: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Massage treatments are also available for an extra cost.
About Clearview Retreat Centre
The retreats are held at Clearview Retreat, a residential retreat centre ninety minutes north of Melbourne in the King Parrot Valley in central Victoria. Clearview Retreat backs onto the Tallarook forest and ranges, with immense views 100 kilometres across to Mount Buller and other spectacular mountain ranges.
Each Weekend Mountain Yoga Retreat involves yoga classes, relaxation, meditation, some periods of silence, and guided walks. The structure of each workshop is the same, but different themes are focussed on each weekend.
Clearview Retreat is a residential retreat centre which runs a range of programs including yoga retreats. Ninety minutes north of Melbourne in the King Parrot Valley in central Victoria, south east Australia, Clearview Retreat backs onto the Tallarook forest and ranges, with immense views across to Mount Buller and other spectacular mountain ranges. Clearview is located on 87 acres of bush with bluegums, a tea tree forest, grasslands and majestic granite rocks.

- Shared Room Price: $515 per person – Includes yoga tuition + all meals ( 2 or 3 people in a room)
- Single Room Price: $575 per person – Includes yoga tuition + all meals
- Deposit: $75 (Balance to be paid 2 weeks before yoga retreat)

- Deposit will not be refunded if booking is cancelled less than 2 weeks before yoga retreat
